in the works
I finally got around to completing a screenplay that I've been wanting to shoot for a while now, but getting actors from friends is always a tricky process. Trying to get what you want without being too demanding or overbearing is a skill I will have to master. This particular script is inspired by a friend's piece of writing, a short story that I adapted into a script. Its a short, and simple scene, but I thought it lent itself to a film quite nicely.
If I'm successful (successful in this sense is scraping together enough motivation to actually finish), this will be my first narrative film since high school; and since any work that I've made in high school must never see the light of day, it's my first true exhibition of my abilities as a film maker. No pressure. The working title at the moment is "A Meeting," which is definitely subject to change. The story itself is a short interaction between two people who share a past, and unexpectedly met again. I'll leave you with that, I wouldn't want to spoil it for you!
